PRINCIPLES OF SAFE DIRECTION OF CHILDREN IN YOUR HOME BASED PLACING AND OFF SITE

Being a home based child-minder the safe supervision of children both in and out of the residence is finally my finish and primary responsibility. 1) CONSTANT GUIDANCE

This is when you are viewing a child all the time, perhaps if you are in close contact with these people and there is a higher element of accident or threat such as when using scissors or a cutlery to cut several fruit and also activities which might be new to kids such as; • Cooking experience

• Normal water Play (adult participation)

• Programmed activities where resources in use may need an adult's assistance to achieve an result or assure appropriate tendencies by the participant.

2) CLOSE SUPERVISION
